Just ready that MCD died, i always liked him and thought he was a great actor... lots of different roles, always bringing value.
I have him most highest rated for Sin City (88-T10), but I'll always remember him for his role in The Green Mile (83-T8).
One of the things I really enjoyed about him is that he was able to play serious roles but also comedy roles.
RIP Mike.

Shame he died so young.
As for his body of work, Duncan basically hit the jackpot with his role in The Green Mile, and then happily accepted any role with a large paycheck attached. Personally, I have zero problems with this, and don't subscribe to the philosophy that actors need to be discerning with their roles, especially since they can only affect the movie's quality so much.
However, the guy's career was nothing to write home about, outside of The Green Mile.
I mean, I thought that Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) was the apotheosis of his shame (seriously, it's one of the worst films ever made, under any criteria), but according to his Criticker, he has since starred in the following timeless classics;
The Slammin' Salmon (Doesn't that name just evoke quality?)
Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore
Redemption Road (The best regarded of the bunch...and people still hated it!)
Green Lantern
