I don't know, right now there's only about 5 films I'm actually really excited to see this year:

Dunkirk (Nolan) - July 21

Detroit (Bigelow) - August 4

Downsizing (Payne) - December 22

The Papers (Spielberg) - December 22

Phantom Thread (P.T. Anderson) - December 25

I was also pretty excited to watch Song to Song, but after reading all the (mostly) negative reviews for it, have gladly decided to pass.

'Bright' looks cool. 'Training Day' meets 'Lord Of The Rings'! Netflix in December 2017.

The only one I'm really pumped for this year is Martin McDonagh's Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

I was born and have lived in Metro Detroit for most of my life. I don't know if I will rush out to see Detroit (I really think they should have come up with a better name), but I'm interested in the response it gets here. There's been a lot of coverage of the riots locally this weekend. I unfortunately missed a good chunk of the documentary 12th and Clairmount that showed over the weekend. There's a twitter page that has been live tweeting the events that I've been following along with: https://twitter.com/StatesideRadio

Not a big Kathryn Bigelow fan but if Detroit is good I'll check it out. Thanks for your input.
