All I remember is this scene set on a penthouse, a villainous type challenges the protagonist for target practicing, explaining to him that if he misses the target, someone could die down on the streets.
For a long time, I assumed it was a James Bond film. Well, I've seen all the classics except for Diamonds Are Forever, which I never really cared to watch.

Re: Clay Pigeon Shooting on a penthouse
I'm completely unsure, complete stab in the dark and cannot remember a specific scene but it's not "Doc Savage Man of Bronze" is it ? Something in the back of my head is saying this is familiar and 'may be a fit'.
or werewolf movie "The Beast Must Die", that probably had a 'warm up' clay pigeon shooting scene before the hunt.

I finally saw Doc Savage... and it has nothing even remotely similar.
