Slowly moving physical threat that always knows where you are? I'd say It Follows is probably the only one to take that idea so far. But there are plenty of movies about supernatural curses that might be what you are looking for, except they are usually not physical.
I'd say Ringu is a good pick then. And The Thing.
Maybe Prince of Darkness.
Matango.
Night of the Demon.
Viy (1967)

The Masque of the Red Death

Any of the Blind Dead series, except for The Ghost Galleon.

Honestly? Most of these will disappoint you. I'm just throwing a few that might get close to what you mean.
