Young Adult novel adaptations

Post by nauru »

I expect this collection will be mostly terrible.

But I'm curious about how many of these films I actually find tolerable or even entertaining. Only ones coming to mind are Ender's Game and the Maze Runner, the rest were really poor.

Anyway, any YA novel adaptations you can think of, please add them to the collection!

Stuart Little? - Probably too much of a children's book
To Kill a Mockingbird
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Pride & Prejudice
All of the Lord of the Rings & Hobbits films, really.
All the Harry Potter films, too. (Maybe too young for YA?)
Divergent I think is based on a YA novel.
Princess Bride
I assume comic book movies are not part of the collection?
