Anderson Bench (2016) Movie Review

Post by Toxic Fletch »

Anderson Bench (2016)

Jordan Salloum, Maddie Nichols and Brande Roderick head up the cast in this John Schneider produced and directed black comedy. Anderson Bench is a man not only having a bad day but a bad life. His boss smokes pot in the backroom while constantly berating him, his wife verbally abuses him regularly, and the only friend he has is a mouse. A new industrial shredder and a pretty hitchhiker with homicidal tendencies who just shows up out of nowhere enter his life, and both give him an idea what to do with his life and the problems in it.

As warped as it is, Anderson Bench succeeds where most comedies should not tread. Corpse grinding, dismemberments and headshots, carnal mayhem of the bloody kind flows freely. Served up with an extra helping of music including country, R&B, alternative and Italian western to accompany the blood splatter and laughs along the way.

A decidedly different movie, Anderson Bench is a fun movie for the not easily disturbed or offended.

My Rating: 80/100
