In the Now
The film was beautifully shot with decent production values. The direction and writing were pretty average and there wasn't anything that really stood out. The biggest problem was with the structure and pacing of the film, the pacing was quite slow with long awkward moments where the camera lingered a little too long. The film also fails to give the viewer a reason for what is happening which kept me from becoming emotionally involved. Also the transition between the two settings in the film were quite jarring and had me confused as to when the scene was taking place. For a lot of the second half I actually thought it was a flashback as opposed to the following day.
