A classic example of a movie that doesn't know what it wants to be. At times it's a social commentary about Vietnam vet and at other times it's an infection film, the really bad part is that they actually mix both concepts into the same scenes at times and neither of them work. The social commentary parts are actually pretty decent and the infection parts are cheesy but entertaining, put the two together along with a slow pace and you get this movie which is entertaining while at the same time a bit of a chore to sit through.
