Unnecessarily long running at over 4 hours, the running time is full of filler dialogue, flack backs, phone calls to loved ones, and travel scenes. That being said the film is vast in scope and boasts some impressive combat sequences. It's a very patriotic film which unfortunately means that the Pakistani forces are treated like villains who have no depth and are generally faceless cannon fodder. The film gets super melodramatic by the end and features not one but three back to back musical numbers at the three hour mark.
