Kickboxer: Retaliation

Post by hotsake »

This is a slight step up from Kickboxer: Vengeance but some good fights that were paced better than the first. While Alain Moussi isn't a good actor he is a really good martial artist and seems much more comfortable in his second starring role. The story is very basic and very b-movie '80s that has more in common with old Don "the Dragon" Wilson than to JCVD films. Its very cheesy but in a stupid fun way. Oh and the opening of the film had me saying WTF and checking to see if I was actually watching the right film. Also I'd love to see a movie with the newer generation martial arts together. Think Matt Mullens, Scott Adkins, Kane Kosugi, Alain Moussi, etc...
