So I know this is a thread for Youtube videos, but I thought this was funny and I didn't want to make a new thread:
https://www.reddit.com/r/AccidentalWesAnderson/

Hell, I can throw in a related video:

thanks - didn't know about that subreddit!

it's in the spirit of https://www.reddit.com/r/AccidentalRenaissance/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/accidentalrockwell/ for those not in the know

It's new. It's only been a subreddit for a month. I hadn't known about it until today when one of their posts hit r/all.

Part 2 w/Jacob Collier

I love the emotion/information section (22:16), where he gives a melody for the feeling of going home. then he goes, but what if it's THIS kind of going home, and sings a slightly more sombre version*. He seems to be able to insta-translate the emotion surrounding a life experience to melody, harmony. Or at least, that's how his mother has taught him to experience the world. Joe Pass talked about this, too: For beginners to not learn the names of chords, or give the chord a name, or even a specific emotion - instead, luxuriate or let wash-over a chord, progression, melody.

if anyone's interested in electroacoustic stuff, this was a cool program on bbc radio 3, mainly focuses on Beatriz Ferreyra.

*or brighter, or he's dragging his luggage with his subdominant hand, or his mum's at work, or his sisters are practising their singing, or whatever it was.

i love this. i understand about 10% of it.

i wonder what visual representations there are of film theory. editing, visual rhythm, etc.
i suppose storyboards are interesting enough. and the kuleshov is easily, effectively illustrated

Danger 5 / Naked Gun-ish thing. I won't over sell it, I'm taking the time to post it because I think it's mediocre and worthless.
