Being Norwegian, I end up seeing a fair amount of Norwegian films even though I kind of try to avoid them because I'm not hugely interested in Norwegian cinema. Here are some of my favorites in recent years though:

Great:
Detektiv Downs (2013)
Kyss meg for faen i helvete (2013)
Naboer (2005)
(YMMV on that last one)

Good:
King of Devil's Island (Kongen av Bastøy) (2011)
Reprise (2008)
Turn me on, Dammit! (Få meg på for faen) (2011)

Also the original Insomnia is good and Trollhunter is fun, as mentioned.

I want to see Kahdeksan surmanluotia (Eight Deadly Shots) really bad, but can't find English subs available anywhere online.

A couple years ago Doug Stanhope did a special called Oslo: Burning the Bridge to Nowhere. He does stand up in an abandoned chocolate factory in Oslo. I mean, its just him doing stand up so it's hard to call it a Scandinavian movie, but it is an odd place to do a stand up special. Also, if anybody does watch it, don't turn it off at the very beginning because it does take him a few minutes to get into a groove.
