I feel like the aggregate accounts are just another tool on the site by which we can measure our individual tastes. Even if, you have a high TCI compared to one of them, it doesn't mean that one of these accounts can't satisfy a certain degree of curiosity every now and then.

I am pretty sure am this hypothetical user. I have several of these accounts in my top 20 TCI and under 1.00 scores. You would miss out on my unhelpful ,non-insightful reviews.

I wouldn't miss out on your scores or reviews since I wouldn't block you, since you're not an aggregate bot.

EDIT: My updated ignored list is now maintained in another thread.

Of these, by far the lowest TCI (i.e., closest taste to me) is mubivotes, who is my 37th closest user (TCI: 1.8288, with 2564 films in common). I don't know anything about what mubi is, though.

It's a Film streaming website, they have an $8 subscription I think and one new movie added each day which expires in 31 days so they cycle through 31 movies each month I believe.

The type of films they choose and that site attracts more cinephiles and people into artistic stuff while more mainstream movies like Before Sunrise, Gone Girl, The Truman Show, Lost In Translation, Arrival, Gone Baby Gone, Shawshank, etc are rated very low on that site. I have a 2.5 TCI with them, if yours is a 1.8ish then that means your taste is probably fairly close to that site and you should sign up for a prescription.
