New Milestone

Postby Luna6ix » Mon Dec 11, 2017 7:50 pm

Today, I finally hit 1000 different reviews starred. It's been a goal for me for a long time. In the star rankings, I'm not actually that high up (high 50's) because it's ordered by how many unique users have given you at least one star, not how many stars you've gotten, or how many reviews have been starred. In fact, to my knowledge, there's no way to check how many different reviews any user has starred except for one's own. So, please share how many unique reviews you have starred.

Wow. Good job. You're way ahead of me. Although, I have far fewer films ranked and only started writing mini-reviews in serious a couple of years ago.

137 Stars Received

132 Stars Given

It's not intentional that those numbers are so close. It just happened that way I guess.

695 stars on 474 reviews from 184 users... not leaderboard-worthy but I'm pretty proud of it. Although I could definitely put more thought into some reviews which are more like lists of personal likes and dislikes.

Congrats!

You've received 1752 stars on 1205 reviews from 240 users
You've given 487 stars to 399 reviews by 144 users

I write a lot though. Most are unhelpful shitposts. I need to give more out. I always forget.

:-(

I have received 34 stars on 27 reviews from 19 users
I have given 161 stars to 95 reviews by 111 users

I don't write many mini-reviews, though. And most I write are one-liners, some even one-worders.

Wait a sec, that doesn't make any logical sense to me.
How can you give more than 1 star to a single review? How can you star less reviews than number of users who wrote those reviews?
Is it a bug and for example formula counts number of films for which you've starred some reviews instead of actual separate reviews?

Opened a thing about this at the "bugs" forum: https://www.criticker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6891.
