I've only seen 3 films on this list (and only two of the Best Picture Nominees), so have no idea how this is going to go. I wonder if they'll have Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty back though?

Way too many noms for a movie that didn't show the fish dong. The actors all deserve it and the production design as well.

On the other hand Boss Baby reconfirms my standing that i should disregard and not follow any of this academy awards horseshit anyway so I'll just bow out of any further discussion.

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”--The pick of the litter but there were better films.

“Lady Bird”------------------|
“The Post”-------------------|
"Call Me by Your Name"----| The PC nominations. Get Out was especially awful.
"Get Out"---------------------|

“The Shape of Water”--Contrived and manipulative.

“Dunkirk”--Nothing special.

“Phantom Thread”--Boring.

“Darkest Hour”--Good movie, excellent actor, but I'm pulling for Denzel.

So where's Mudbound or one of the dozen other better movies that were snubbed.

They need a best/most entertaining blockbuster category. My noms:

Guardians of the Galaxy-2
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Hmmm, both sequels. Not sure what that means except they were both better than the originals.
