I'm recovering from a broken leg and have exhausted my books and video games. I've seen a lot of film but am open to things I haven't seen or something that's due a rewatch.
The only rules are:
-No subtitles (I'll be watching from too far away to read them)
-No rom-coms
-No slow moving movies, nothing deep or throught-provoking
Other than that I'm open to all genres, eras and quality levels.
I appreciate the help. Thank you!
Recommend me some movies to watch.

Re: Recommend me some movies to watch.
Sorry to hear about your leg! I underwent surgery for some broken bones once. I think I would have enjoyed these at various points during my convalescence: (some probably a good deal more right after the medicine went down...)
Dave Made a Maze (2017)
Fast-Walking (1982)
Detention (2011)
Vice Squad (1982)
Zero Effect (1998)
The Beach Bum (2019)
God Told Me To (1976)
Macon County Line (1974)
Green Room (2017)
The Vagrant (1992)
some entertaining documentaries:
Einstein's Brain (1994)
Tread (2020)
Fast, Cheap & Out of Control (1997)
Holy Ghost People (1967)
An Honest Liar (2014)

Cheers bud! I've had Macon County and Vice Squad on my radar for awhile so we'll start there. God Told me To is fantastic! Cohen's best I think.
I've been home for a few months now, taking baby steps on my own before I start physio. With a little luck I'll be walking in time for western Canadian winter!
