The recommendations feature is useless, 8 films of random genres, most of which don't have a PSI let alone a probable score.
I realize that calculating everyone's probable score for every film would waste a ton of cpu time. But you could feasibly create a new recommendations page where the user can select a genre and decade, and the site could compute in real time your probable score for that smaller subset of films. Have it stream in the results into a list as it calculates, and sort by probable score every time it updates.

It is already possible to generate many recommendations this way. Just go to the full film database, or any other collection, filter it in any way you like, and order by PSI.

I stopped using "recommendation" feature long ago. I use "full database" instead, clicking "regenerate PSIs on this page" as often as possible.
