1) Terrence Malick -- 96.80 (5)
2) Darren Aronofsky -- 91.20 (5)
3) Quentin Tarantino -- 89.00 (8)
4) Martin Scorsese -- 88.80 (10)
5) Wes Anderson -- 87.43 (7)

...PTA is 7th at an average of 81.00, but I'm sure he'd be 95+ if it weren't for his shorts "Couch" and "Coffee & Cigarettes"

With a minimum of 4 films:

1) Martin Scorsese - 82.80
I don't believe Scorsese is capable of making a bad film
2) Sergio Leone - 80.75
A veritable god of the western genre
3) Stanley Kubrick - 79.88
Made more of my T10 movies than any other director. His post-Lolita average is a stunning 87.2
4) Billy Wilder - 79.25
Epitomizes the post-war golden age. Perfect blend of classic sensibility with uncensored subject matter.
5) Frank Capra - 79.20
Epitomizes the pre-war golden age. A master of inspiration, idealism, and emotion. Sentimentality at its finest.

I thought the remake of Cape Fear was really weak, replete with implausible scenes and heavy-handed camerawork.

I don't think it was his magnum opus, by any means, but I still find it to be rather enjoyable and overall, above average. To me it only feels weak in the context of other Scorsese films.

He directed Michael Jackson's video for Bad, so he's entirely capable :P

On the contrary Scorsese hasn't directed a genuinely great film since After Hours.

I'll stick to 3 for now, due to my lackluster voting history thus far.

Jean Luc-Godard 99.15 (13 Films Seen)
Hou Hsiao-hsien: 97.5 (6 Films Seen)
Robert Bresson 97.29 (7 Films Seen)

5 films minimum:

Hayao Miyazaki - 91.45 (11 films seen)
What can I say, this man is pretty much one of the reasons why I am here compiling films. I love almost everything of his filmmaking, watched a lot, too.

Aleksandr Petrov - 90.20 (5 films seen)
A guy who is capable of making beautiful pieces of art that glorify the concept of animation by themselves. I'd recommend his shorts to anyone.

Stanley Kubrick - 90.17 (6 films seen)
Solid as a rock. Even if I'm not his biggest fan, with movies like Paths Of Glory or A Clockwork Orange I can't say anything against.

Alfred Hitchcock - 88.38 (8 films seen)
A recent discovery for me, watched the first film of him last year. I'm so far liking him, but there's also some overrated stuff and he'll probably leave this position in the list soon.

Hamilton Luske - 88.00 (5 films seen)
My favorite Disney classics (excluding Aladdin and The Great Mouse Detective) have their name. That pretty much sums it up.
