Biography: Born in Ohio, Halle stepped into the spotlight at an early age winning the Miss Teen All-American Pageant in 1985 when she was 17. After some moderate success in modelling Halle made her acting debut in the TV series Living Dolls and started off in movies such as Jungle Fever and Boomerang in the early 90's before hitting more well known roles like playing Storm in the X-Men films and her Oscar-winning performance of Leticia Musgrove in 2001's Monster's Ball.
