A house cleaner meets a teenaged girl and convinces her to run away and live with her in secret.
Based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan and directed by the brothers Dowdle (Quarantine helmers Drew and John Eric), this edgy thriller is set in an elevator, where a group of passengers are trapped with none other than the king of the underworld. Luckily for them, a homicide detective (Chris Messina) is on board. Not so luckily: the cop has issues of his own, including a not-so-long-ago-kicked addiction to alcohol.

The lives of brilliantly twisted scientist Maximilian von Max and his assistant/lover Tatiana Vlaskovsky are torn apart after a terrible doomsday device mishap leaves him maimed and her with amnesia. Max builds a robot in his own image to renew relations with the memory-less Tatiana in hopes of re-igniting any awareness of their past life together, however, the robot and Tatiana fall in love, leaving a jealous, homicidal Max in the lurch creating a weird love triangle of apocalyptic proportions.
Hollywood pokes fun at itself in this comedic look at the sometimes absurdist world of moviemaking. A fledgling screenwriter, Bobby (Matthew Modine), buys the rights to a Canadian book and attempts to turn it into his magnus opus. But as often happens, the showbiz machinery grinds the movie's progress to a halt. An actor falls apart on set, the original author is enraged at the events, and a documentary crew happens to be filming everything.
