¿Quién Mató a Mariano Ferreyra? (Who killed Mariano Ferreyra?) is a documentary work by Martín Caparrós about the murder of Mariano Ferreyra, an activist killed in Barracas, while a manifestation was being held by PO (Partido Obrero or Workers Party), around which several suspicions are being considered, involving Carlos Tomada, Argentina's capitol city Minister of Work and Social Security and José Pedraza, a railway syndicalist.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Manuel Puig, the film tells the story of several characters who meet as youngsters in a provincial town of Buenos Aires. All the women have some sort of relationship with Juan Carlos Etchpare, who's secretly dying from tuberculosis.

An eclectic group of actors struggles to save their theater from being demolished and replaced with a shopping mall. Max, the leader of the troupe, is a workaholic director who abandoned his family to build his career and is forced to confront the daughter he deserted.
