Marty Jackitansky is an angry temp at a mortgage office. His scams takes a turn for the worse. Marty's growing anxiety drives him to hide out in his friend's basement for a week, terrified of the outside world. Acts of aggression force him to then take a bus to Detroit, hoping to finish off the check cashing plans away from home.
