"This is why I pretty much stay away from horror films, especially new ones, because they can never seem to contain new ideas. Why must most new horrors become amalgams of better movies from decades past? When Hershey said she knew who to call, I was praying for a resurrection of the medium from Poltergeist to exorcise the demons. After that the film got a little bit better with the faux-science stuff, but still nothing remarkable. "
