||Blade Runner 2049 (2017) - Mar 25, 2021
"This film is visually pleasing, but it is a sub-par sequel to a far superior original. Its first scene is its best scene. The world is bi-dimensional and feels empty. The shots lack layers and usually look like "character(s) in front of wallpaper". The plot suffers from "epic conspiracy syndrome" combined with fan service. The OST is only noticeable when reprising the original. The themes referenced have been explored already. It felt like box-ticking."
