Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - May 18, 2015
"A visually stunning oilpunk/waterpunk/pretty-much-everything-punk universe, which strikes a perfect balance between gritty hyperrealism and the grotesque. Except for the guitar. They should have lost the stupid guitar. A brutal road movie with an abundance of shooting, explosions, asskickings, Hardy as a mumbling madman and Theron channelling Ellen Ripley. Nothing mediocre about this."

RoboCop (2014) - Apr 23, 2015
"The perfect satire of the movie's own creation. "Make him look more tactical! He should transform; the kids love that! Put in something about foreign politics, the media, domestic politics! Have a scene we can put in the video game! Cut out the humanity! Remove the emotions!" And they end up with this nightmarishly amputated thing, grafted to a big, hulking but efficient machine and they claim that it's just like the original, but whenever it tries to act like the old one it gets shut down."

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - Apr 27, 2015
"True to its nature as a sequel, AoU does what the first Avengers did, but faster, stronger, harder and definitely louder. I am, however, unable to come up with a single thing that it actually does better. An enjoyable enough ride, but the ending made it feel like it only served to bring together the team for the next Avengers movie."
