"Wow, you don't even need to read the subs. The animation is amazing, the way the animals move is hard to describe except as chillingly expressive. I am both in awe of the hard work that went into creating this and heartily disappointed that no one seems interested in making (or at least producing) anything like this now. Glad I waited until I was 26 to check it out, would have terrified me as a child."

"I certainly enjoy, on some level at least, that this movie exists, but watching it is a chore. I can image Romero being super stoned and trying to explain the plot to someone, but I can't for the life of me image someone actually giving him money to do so. Tom Savini is a total babe though, so if you were disappointed by how little of his sexy mug you got to see in Maniac before it was shot off or if you're a biker and/or are into lots of cycle stunts, check this one out. "
|45 T2||Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) - Feb 17, 2017
"The most engaged I was with this movie was in the beginning when the main character was traveling around New York with a cat, it was all downhill from there. If you are into pretty boys aping Bob Dylan and singing shitty music then this movie is for you. Do people seriously think Mumford & Sons and Justin Timberlake sound like 60s folk? The modern recordings were awful. Even the cinematography was slicker than the leads chiseled hair. Personally, I wish I had just re-watched Don't Look Back. "
|15 T1||Dying of the Light (2014) - Feb 17, 2017
"pyrosexual stole my review. Movie is easily summed up by DEMENTIA vs. RARE GENETIC DISEASE and it's about as exciting as that sounds. I feel like it was trying to give the impression that it was building up to a big Nic Cage freak out, but it didn't. Cage's performance was not nuanced or good in any sense of the word, but it did leave me with a feeling of sadness in the same way I imagine watching a relative with dementia would make me feel. Wasn't hoping for much, but disappointed anyways"
