"Extremely cheezy C-movie (or very low-B movie) with lots of nudity and poor gore effects. I can dig these types of films, but generally they are accompanied by lots of humor, which was mostly but not entirely missing from this one (The Dick's transformation was pretty funny). Marginal acting and poor make-up/creature designs. Gave it a 30 because, despite its flaws, it kept me interested, and the last 5 min were a nice surprise. But it's not a good movie in any way."

"Very discounted version of 28 Days Later. The story is actually pretty decent. The issues main are with the production value. The action sequences are very low end and, at times, look amateurish. Acting isn't bad, but not good either. It's just a bit scattershot and unevenly cut in spots - continuity and flow aren't strong suits here. But if u like very low budget zombie survival/gore flicks, you might enjoy it. But it's not a good film."

"Surprisingly good. Not for most people unless you're into horror/gore. Fun story with good showmanship and excellent kills. Some dumb character decisions (as always with these types of films), but well crafted for the most part and a great ending that isn't your typical Hollywood finale."

"Some good effects and it's a solid creature movie with requisite gore. But the characters are too stock & on the nose and it suffers from trying to hammer home the generic "meek guy finds courage to save people" message."
