"Absolutely absurd. I cringed my way through the entire film although to be fair I watched this without knowing what it was about and the first thirty minutes had me expecting some generic comedy / drama. Oh how I was wrong. The film has a very basic plot, is a generic horror, features *absurd* events (one in particular) that are totally implausible as so much of the horror genre tends to be and has ingrained a permanent fear of sky-lifts deep into my soul. Characters were okay at best."

V for Vendetta (2006) - Rated 14 Mar 2011
"Absolutely brilliant, I can't believe I skipped this (I tend to skip films that get over-hyped by the masses). I watched it last night and it blew my mind. The relation between this film and George Orwell's 1984 is undeniable - it felt like the cult classic book was being enacted in film form, yet different enough to be not spoiled by the book and keep the user guessing. It's thought provoking and a brilliant example of the grey areas between unlawful good and evil."
