"The concept is GREAT, and the cast truly was wisely chosen. The issue is that the writer didn't seem to know where to GO with it. The plot idea is there, but it falls apart more and more throughout the movie, leaving gaping-holes at every turn and constantly raising the "Uh...." response. Had the potential to be amazing, but is overall a let-down."

"I may be biased, as I loved the game long before this movie came to be. Yes, it's action packed, but a lot of the tension and made-you-jump moments are gone. The actress portraying Alice is enjoyable, the effects are lovely, and the creatures are decently portrayed. Give it a whirl if you enjoy zombie-like, Apocalypse-style movies. Just note that it isn't an edge-of-your-seat kinda movie."

"Overall a wonderful movie. This isn't a movie you can only pay half-attention to; you really need to pay attention, and the movie is likely to make you think far more than you're used to when watching a movie. But a beautiful concept, executed with a wonderful cast, and equally beautiful cinematography, you're definitely in for a positive ride with this film."

"It's fine when you're looking for raunchy humor with a mediocre plot, but otherwise is a fairly disappointing movie. I can count how many times I actually laughed, so it was a bit disappointing when you consider the great cast it had. Sadly, the cast just wasn't utilized in the best way, so this movie fell flat very frequently."
