"This film had such an impact on me as a child. I grew up watching the Director's cut which then made more sense when I watched the original. The whole package - acting, soundtrack, set design, screenplay, cinematography all generates this forboding atmosphere that just pour's out of the screen. It's an amazing film that has influenced me, my later film tastes and music tastes. Genius."

"Loved this film growing up. It's aged fairly well and if you're looking for a good old action packed 90's yarn then look no further. Plus Kurt Russell's in it and he's cool."

"I'm no horror fan but my wife suggested this as she'd heard it was good. 'Slow burn' is the key to describing this film, that and 'creepy as hell'. Some no nonsense direction and superb acting from all made this one of the best film's I'd seen in ages. Slept terribly after seeing it. I loved the fact that so much was left unexplained and the Kubrick-esque influence was sublime. See this film. It's brilliant."
