"This is a very positive and feel good movie whose real strength is that it is based a true story. You would say "Implausible!" if it wasn't for that. Sandra Bullock is ageless in this and her acting chops are as good as ever. Quinton's role does not involve a lot of dialogues but he conveys everything with his eyes and expressions. If you liked Lion, Wonder or The Green Book, you will like this one too."

"I watched this movie in 2021 and the first thing you notice is the huge cast. They managed to pull off a casting coup! It was almost a game to recognize what movies or TV series I had watched that actor/actress in before. This isn't an anthology like Babel or Crash where all the stories come together in the end dramatically. It was still a decent watch especially if you like NY."

"I found the movie mildly entertaining probably because it is a '93 movie that I am watching in '21 and I don't recognize anyone from the cast. It is also not a movie you take too seriously or apply logic to. The hero (Mike Myers) is over the top whereas everyone else does a decent job. There are some good shots of San Francisco City. "

"Insecurities. That's really the word that came to my mind when I saw the movie. A 45 years old marriage gets shaken due to a blast from the past, so to speak. The movie does an excellent job of showing the relationship between the couple. It's a fine drama. The pace of the movie and the way it was shot almost reminded me of some French movies I have seen."
|83 85%||Hacksaw Ridge (2016) - Jul 04, 2021
"It is hard to even believe that a man who refused to hold a rifle due to his religious convictions actually went into a war zone and got himself a Medal Of Honour. That's really the beauty of the movie. Andrew Garfield does a fine job especially with his '40s Virginia accent."

"Hollywood Musicals aren't my thing (Mama Mia! is one of my worst rated movies) but this one's tolerable and even enjoyable to an extent. The rustic look of the movie, funny dialogues, interesting characters and positive ending make it worth the time."
|73 31%||School of Rock (2003) - Jun 05, 2021
"I thought the movie might be unbearable or too whacky but it was quite entertaining and even motivating to an extent. Yes, you do need to keep aside some rational thinking but that shouldn't get in the way of enjoying the movie. The movie belongs to Jack Black's and the various kids."
|60 7%||Timbuktu (2014) - May 23, 2021
"The movie is partly intriguing because it shows a way of life and people that you normally never get to see in a mainstream movie. However, even at just 95 minutes it feels slow-paced. It is strictly an arthouse movie that would definitely tank in the theatres but sections may appreciate it."
|53 5%||Audition (1999) - May 15, 2021
"I don't care for classics or cults that I don't understand and this one is right up that list. I find it particularly distasteful when large or key parts of the movie are a dream sequence that that audience was initially fooled into believing as real. The movie builds up reasonably well and then disappoints."
