"Orphan is one of those movies that surprised the hell out of me. I cared about the characters which is hard to say about most of the movies in the genre. I also enjoyed the dynamic between the three children as well. There are some stretches though that are pretty boring which is why it isn't scored higher."

"Got this film at the dollar store for (you guessed it) a $1 and wasn't expecting much. However, it had a decent story for a horror film along with decent acting as well. The kills are well done for the most part and had great special effects. Pleasant surprise!"

"Typical found footage horror movie with all of the dumb character decisions and jump scares you are used to. However, I won't completely dismiss this one since it does have an interesting background on why the events are happening. If this was a regular movie and not found footage I think it could have been way better."

"What a boring movie! Bad chemistry among characters and even worse dialogue take up 80% of the film. It's rated PG-13 so that means that the kills are super lame and tame. Plus, being from Wisconsin I noticed how fake the snow was right away!"
