"For me this is the film that comes closest to being the perfect masterpiece. Phenomenal directing by one of the most talented filmmakers today, jaw-dropping cinematography by arguably one of the greatest masters of cinematography, the score is in my opinion much deeper and richer than the original's and lastly the acting is also almost nearly flawless. This is the film I'll re-watch if I'm ever unsatisfied with present cinema."

"Not like many other fans of sci-fi, I liked the new one more. Although I accept that it's is a masterpiece and a very influential and important movie, I just thought the new one expanded on it in nearly all the right ways: look, mood, score, etc. Overall a great move and it will be watched and re-watched by many in the coming decades."
