"Classic Felini. So beautifully pieced together. Gelsomina is such a fantastic character whilst being very simple, unlike her master Zampano who only appears simple but then in the final moments of the film he expresses his true emotions. Then, as the camera lifts, and Gelsomina's theme plays I was weeping like a little kid."
