90 78% V for Vendetta (2006) - Rated 23 Feb 2011
"A supreme film: I love the subject matter, the characterisation and the cinematography. Natalie Portman is great, and the script is really good too."
5% Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) - Rated 10 Jan 2011
"What kinda of shit even is this film? The "romance" between Anakin and Padme is literally incredible, the script is horrible, the characters are ridiculously bland and unlikeable, and the story is dumb. Oh god it's so bad."
75 47% Blazing Saddles (1974) - Rated 10 Jan 2011
"Raucous, cheesy fun from Mel Brooks. A horse gets punched in the face, I mean, come on. You KNOW you wanna see that."
60 30% 1408 (2007) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"The psychological tricks and turns that this film delivers are refreshing and enjoyable - it's rather unique in that sense, and John Cusack, as always, gives a great performance. Also Samuel L Jackson is in it."
20 11% Pineapple Express (2008) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"The fact that I can't remember one single joke from this comedy probably says enough."
75 47% Hard Candy (2006) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"A very unique and interesting thriller which puts the viewer in an uncomfortable position, in which there is no obvious good guy or bad guy, at least compared to your standard Hollywood movie. Both actors deliver a good performance - definitely worth a look."
88 70% Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"I straight-up love this film. It has a wicked-funny style of humour and Will Ferrell is perfect for the role, not to mention the other main cast members. Light-hearted, hella funny comedy."
82 56% Vertigo (1958) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"Great Hitchcock film. James Stewart's descent into madness is very well portrayed, and the directing is super, despite the odd cheesy shot but hey, it was the 50s."
35 13% Paranormal Activity (2009) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"I thought the acting in this film was mostly really good, but, probably just owing to personal preference, the premise didn't really draw me in. It took a very long time for anything to happen, which could maybe have built tension effectively had I been more emersed but it didn't happen for me. Still, impressively cheap to make such a high-grossing film."
60 30% Ice Age (2002) - Rated 09 Jan 2011
"A good film, aimed mostly at children. The voice acting doesn't feel phoned in, but rather pretty committed. The humour is cheesy, of course, but not a bad movie."
