"I must be one of the few Texans who thinks John Wayne is ridiculously overrated. Jeff Bridges outshines him in the role of Rooster, and the chemistry between him and the girl is fantastic. An interesting choice for the Coen brothers, in my opinion, but its one of their best."
85 62% Toy Story (1995) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"One of the first animated films I remember watching, during a phase where I'd watch movies over and over again ad nauseam. The Toy Story series holds a special place in my soul, Pixar's best series in my opinion."
80 37% Napoleon Dynamite (2004) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"First off-beat comedy I watched. I was still in my tweens at the time, so I didn't have an appreciate for this type of comedy yet. I need to revisit it. That being said, I'll put this movie up there with Borat for the most over-quoted movie award."
85 62% Sin City (2005) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"I have only watched the "graphic novel" edition of this film but nonetheless I loved the hell out of it. The noir atmosphere and storytelling is excellent, and the film style is one of my favorites in the genre."
75 25% 28 Days Later (2002) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"Cilian Murphy, Christopher Eccleston, and Brendan Gleeson in a "zombie" movie? Hell yeah! I never found zombies frightening until this movie, where they're akin to tweaked out junkies on PCP and meth. I know they're not zombies in the traditional sense, but I still think this series breathed new life into the genre."
70 12% How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"Fun for what it was. One of Carrey's comedies where his acting was just the right level of bombast."
80 37% The Tree of Life (2011) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"I need to re-watch this film. I loved the soundtrack and visuals but I got lost in the overall scope of the film."
60 0% E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) - Rated 07 Jun 2017
"Not my favorite Spielberg. Very ham-fisted, and not in a good, fun way like the Indiana Jones series."
