Bio: I’m just getting into analysing films. I am an aspiring film composer and I know I needs to be more conscious about some of the important techniques and other aspects of filmmaking. This will help me to interpret directors’ decisions and write better scores for their films.

"A great film with some beautiful twists and turns, not quite my style of film but there are some great moments I love."
95 0% La La Land (2016) - Rated 04 Jan 2019
"I loved this film so much and found almost no imperfections. I expect this to be a favourite film of mine for a long time."
40 0% Fences (2016) - Rated 26 Dec 2018
"This film was disappointing, its theme is incredibly vague, had too much dialogue which gave me a headache after a while, and left me confused about things like what on earth happened to his brother and whether he was drunk or just crazy. It was confusing, weird and hardly a good film. I feel as though I missed some important thing to make it make sense, but there's nothing."
80 0% The Greatest Showman (2017) - Rated 26 Dec 2018
"This musical reminds the world that success is about having a place where you feel you really belong. I enjoyed it a lot and only found two problems in it. As a musician, I know Jenny Lind is not classically trained and she does not sing opera in the film at all. Secondly, I found some of the songs to have parts sung by the chorus that were repetitive with not a lot of change between repeats which I found a little annoying. However, overall, it was an inspiring, heartwarming film."
75 0% Music and Lyrics (2007) - Rated 26 Dec 2018
"This film is funny in a purposely cringey way. Nothing stands out as being really good or really bad, it's just a feel-good romantic comedy for a night in."
80 0% Hot Fuzz (2007) - Rated 22 Dec 2018
"While a hilarious movie and quite well made, its sense of humour wouldn't suit everyone. It is more graphic than expected for a comedy but is handled carefully to keep the mood light hearted but somewhat intense."
90 0% The Shawshank Redemption (1994) - Rated 22 Dec 2018
"I loved every part of this film except for the ending. It went on for way too long and while each ending was important it left me feeling a little less satisfied than I felt after the first ending. It was reminiscent of the Lord of the Rings trilogy ending, which almost deserved its 20 minute ending because of its length and complexity. However, this film didn't really need it all."
