85 89% Die Hard Die Hard (1988) - Rated 24 Feb 2008
"I love this film, I really do. Forget the blabla, we want action. Film came out in 1988 and is still one of the best action films imo. Great performances and Bruce Willis started a great die hard series here!"
88 92% Star Trek Star Trek (2009) - Rated 12 Mar 2010
"There are a few things which make this movie that good: first of all the fact that one doesn't need any knowledge of previous star trek films, which makes it enjoyable for everyone. Second of all, it just looks awesome, everything from the make up and costumes to the CGI effects is quite perfect. Next to that the acting performances are great. Last but not least the story itself is quite amazing at times, but it's a good thing they didn't take it too serious(funny at times). Just a great film!"
84 87% 28 Days Later 28 Days Later (2002) - Rated 28 Jan 2010
"Great and exciting. Danny Boyle did something wonderful here. A great combination of camerawork, music and a terrific story. The acting was very good and he was really able to create a good mixture. Really loved the scenes in the beginning showing the desolate London. Also loved the psychological part of this film, which makes it much more than the usual second-class horror movie."
81 82% Cloud Atlas Cloud Atlas (2012) - Rated 20 Oct 2014
"A kaleidoscopic story which you have to watch more than once to fully understand and appreciate it. This story is so complex due to all the little details, all the little events that influence on another that a second watch won't do any harm, but however this entanglement is so extreme and fast, the story is comprehensible and beautiful. A must see."
99 99% The Green Mile The Green Mile (1999) - Rated 14 Feb 2008
"The scene where they're about to put him on the electric chair and he says he's scared in the dark.. I cried like a baby there. That's one of the best and most emotional scenes in movie history. This movie is as close to perfection as one can be. I didn't like this movie, I loved it!"
94 98% Joker Joker (2019) - Rated 27 Jan 2020
"I loved this film. In a very psychological way we get to see the person behind the Joker and how he becomes the most interesting villain in movie history. This origin story fits in the series and stays believable. Joaquin Phoenix is marvelous and definitely Oscar worthy."
