Bio: Film-fan for I don't know how long. My first film I saw was Bambi when I was about 2 1/2. Apparently I cried a lot during it. "I don't like the fire" is a common phrase in my parent's house now, especially when I am being teased!

The first film I fell in love with was Star Wars. I was slightly older than the trip to Bambi and I sat on a stuffed owl to watch it.

I've got two kids of my own now (well, 1 daughter and 1 step-son). My step-son is 9 and we've been to see Avatar and Clash of the Titans recently. I loved Avatar, but Clash of the Titans was sadly disappointing. I'm waiting until my daughter (2) is slightly older before we go to the cinema. Maybe later this year?

All-time top films:
The Usual Suspects
The Empire Strikes Back
The Shawshank Redemption
The Matrix
Gladiator
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Blues Brothers
The 13th Warrior
Good Will Hunting
The Life of Brian

Apart from film, I love sport and music. Anyway, I'm getting boring now, so I'll shut up.

"A really nice film about an old man (Mr Frederickson) who embarks on an adventure with a young Wilderness Explorer (Russell)."
85 35% The Rebound (2009) - Rated 12 Jan 2013
"Not as bad as I thought it would be. A nice, feel-good film with a cheesy ending."
85 35% Robin Hood (2010) - Rated 02 Jan 2013
"Another film which started with a great idea for a plot but where the execution leaves a little to be desired. Historically, the most accurate Robin Hood, with far more history and far less myth, in places at least. However, it's all a little too convenient in terms of scripting and I was left ruing what might have been. Nowhere close to Gladiator."
85 35% Immortals (2011) - Rated 30 Dec 2012
"This is a film that promised so much. It was a great idea for a film, and could have been so much better. Whilst not the worst film I have seen, the story skips through so much and left me feeling cheated. It reminds me a lot of the Clash of the Titans remake."
90 65% Edward Scissorhands (1990) - Rated 30 Dec 2012
"A Frankenstein-esque story"
