"The Psychological aspect of movies is present when the action is more mental and psychological. The characters are exposed to danger on a mental level rather than a physical one.

For instance, in a Psychological Horror, a mentally ill person is going through a lot because he/she is seeing perturbing images and not because of the hunting itself but more because how it affects to his mind.

Another example, in a Psychological Thriller the conflicts are usually played out through mind games, deception, and manipulation, or even sustained attempts to demolish each other’s mental equilibrium, as opposed to the banging physical action in classic thrillers.
