Review: A surface-level portrayal on the downfall of an All-American. Not to the fault of the actors, the film played like a music video – and the music seemed to have its own gratuitous character. A lack of dialogue throughout the film lead to low levels of meaningful character development, depth, and a disbelief in some of the more emotional scenes. The film could have been an ode to grief, Frank Ocean, or MADD – who knows what the director was thinking.
