Review: A great adaptation of Albert Camus' "Stranger". There are a lot of problems with it though. The unnecessary inclusion of extra story elements different from the book and the awkward confrontations during the imprisonment scenes are hard to watch. Other than that, a nice experimental adaptation for an experimental book and I applaud the director for his courage.

And in this case, it is war. 10/10 tragic love story and an honest depiction of war. Its ending is perfect and the only thing I wished we could see more was Boris' perspective and experiences.

It shows perfectly the psyche of the old generation slowly losing grip on their lives and their constant struggle to protect their values. Some episodes were too relatable and straight from real life that it is not uncommon to feel uncomfortable and sad watching it. It is so beautifully tragic and real at the same time. A must watch for everyone.
