Bill Nye Saves the World

Oh my. How the mighty have fallen.

Remember when Bill Nye was just an innocuous science show host for kids? Now he's a left wing propagator who, with this show alone, lost all of the little credibility he had. Even the left finds this trash nauseating, which is quite the accomplishment.

My sex junk is so OH OH OH OH

Remember kids, "versatile" buttsex is A-OK and you better say yes to being pressured into same-sex orgies!

This is the definition of selling out and the fact that it was nominated for 3 Emmys shows that even the TV industry does not care about quality of entertainment as long as it pushes an agenda.

Culturally notable for being perhaps the most degenerate content ever produced (search YouTube for "My Sex Junk - Rachel Bloom" - or, save your mind and don't). The rest of the show features things like Bill Nye preaching, telling you that climate change is worse than world wars and pandemics. (The world wars killed ~80 million; pandemics have killed hundreds of millions.)

A little too big for his britches with experiments that don't necessarily illustrate his points well.

What's sad about Saves the World is how it plays to none of Nye's strengths. Instead it has poorly edited segments of him talking over guests, propping up peusdo-scientific experiments which are neither informative nor proof of his claims, and peddling tone-deaf hot-button claims which feel more like propaganda than either science or a good-faith discussion of these complex issues.

I wish that Bill Nye the Science Guy who has no degree in science would just go away.

Unfortunately, it doesn't really recreate the success of the Bill Nye the Science Guy show. It had some good ideas, but it wasn't executed very well, and there was some stuff that was just absolute cringe.
