*The* most openly queer anime I've ever seen - not just full of same-gender romance where the participants actually say "I love you" and express explicit desire, but also full of the genuine experience of what that's like, with multiple different perspectives on it, including a- and demi-romanticism, demi- and bi-sexuality, a stable older couple, overcoming microaggressions, and more! Plus questions of identity from outside of that sphere, intersecting with it! And also, it's just really cute!!!

I sincerely hope they adapt this to the end of the manga - the reason it loses points for me - because it is such a remarkable coming of age romance story, mainly about battling aromanticism in a very respectful way.
