Not as life-changing as the over-enthused, guardian-reading teachers who forced it upon us made out. There are some strong, memorable moments amongst the odd tele-play swings from comedy to drama though.

"Boys from the Blackstuff" is simply one of the finest TV dramas ever made. It is bleak, but brilliant in absolutely every respect. Really deserves to be hunted out and watched by absolutely everyone!
