Children of the Night

Sociology student Lois Lee changes her life quite drastically. She decides to take care of a group of teenage prostitutes in Hollywood. The children are having a hard time. Not only because of their age, but also because of the pimps. Lois tries to get them off the street. Based on a true story.

I'm not gonna criticise anybody for trying to raise awareness of important social issues. The protagonist here is a passionate and empathetic human who wants to make a difference. That's great, but just about everything here is eclipsed by Streetwise which is the real deal. It doesn't help that Children of the Night is poorly penned and paced.
