Derren Brown: Something Wicked This Way Comes

Brown's first televised stage show. Fairly standard repertoire of effects, mixing and building with wit and invention. Maybe a little too much. He incorporates his hero David Berglas's presentation of the pulse-stopping illusion, down to the brilliant use of percussion (DB raves about this in 2002's 50 GREATEST MAGIC TRICKS), into a glass-walking act "aided" by his pulselessness. This is on the right side of overkill, but his hammy zombie affectation pales to Berglas's almost preternatural cool.
