"A fun, if somewhat lighthearted, look at how the Friday the 13th franchise continues to endure even after three decades of slaughter."

I really enjoyed a look back at the Friday the 13th franchise. It was cool hearing of some of the stories from some of the people who were in them and some who acknowledged the fact that this movie was iconic and and something that influenced them in their projects. A good watch if you are even a casual fan of the series.

An enjoyable look at 30 years of Jason('s mom) killing stuff. Many interesting tidbits and fun anecdotes, though only interesting for the real Jason fan. Savini as the host is the icing on the bloody cake.

A fun retrospective about the Friday the 13th series. It's impressive to see how many individuals they were able to bring back to discuss the movies- actors and actresses, directors, screenwriters, and the like. Tom Savini is great as the host. The 2-disc Anchor Bay set has plenty of bonus features and interviews, which look to be as interesting as the movie itself.

I found this more enjoyable than the actual Friday the 13th movies because at least people in it admit how absurd the movies are. Still I can't agree with the sentiments that the movies are a worthwhile watch.

Honestly a pretty boring featurette, somehow stretched out to feature length

an informative doco on the series, not as great as the epic one for Elm Street, but still quite good

A well made documentary overall. Shows the rise and rise of iconic cinema teen killer Jason Voorhees over the last 3 decades. Quite interesting! A must for the fans!

Good fun if you're a fan of the franchise or the genre, nothing more.
