Oddly enough the movie partly explained the feeling "Under the skin" tried to achieve. The thing is, that in this movie the protagonist was allowed to express herself loudly while in Under the skin everything was literally under dark skin, impenetrable with fingers or vision. Sadly the skin was basically ripped off by fame - adapting to society and educational system. While being a good motivational teenage drama it's nothing more than painful dramatic story marked with slogan BELIEVE.
