Looks like Steve Nash has a future as a filmmaker after his NBA career is over. Great stuff. Shouldn't be as compelling as it is but there's just something about Terry Fox that you can't look away from. One of the better 30 for 30's.

The biggest problem with the 30 for 30 series in general is the tendency to turn nostalgia into hagiography, and for once, the subject in question is worthy of such praise. Formally, it's your basic talking head/archive footage doc, but for some stories, anything else is a distraction. That lady inadvertently put it best when she said Canada doesn't have a Martin Luther King or a Nelson Mandela. She's wrong. They have Terry Fox.

Looks like Steve Nash can make some pretty great assists no matter what the profession is.
